I did some scrapbooking this weekend. I was so thrilled to get my hands on the Basic Grey cupcake collection and create a few things for my LSS. This collection is just so fun and makes you feel happy just by looking at it.
Here is the funny part...Luke would not let me take any photos of him on his second birthday. With Sean, I always did a little photo shoot with a party hat and cake, etc. Well, Luke was not willing. So once I knew I was going to be working with this paper and also knowing, I wanted some '2-year' shots of Luke, I used the technique all good mothers use....BRIBERY. We stopped at a yummy bakery and I bought a delicious cupcake and told Luke he could have it if he wore a party hat and let me take pictures. How bad am I?
However, I have no regrets, because now I have some photos of Luke a little over two wearing his party hat!
Here is the layout I created. I was too lazy to scan it in, so I just took photos today.
A birthday card in the same fashion as my fabric cupcake card. I just love this sprinkle paper!
And here is a birthday tag. I seem to have had a circle theme going on.
This is a close-up shot of the tag. The 'happy birthday' circle is mounted on pop dots.
If you have some birthday cards to make or birthday photos to scrap, get some of this Basic Grey! You will love it!
