Sean and my husband, Kevin, had this little conversation this morning:
Sean: I don't want to ride the bus to school in the morning.
Kevin: Oh, you'll be fine. You rode the bus home every day from early kindergarten last year.
Sean: Yeah, but when I ride the bus home from school, it is to see Mommy; but in the morning, I'm leaving Mommy.
Oh, be still my heart. I love him so much. I am having such a hard time thinking about tomorrow...his first official day of kindergarten. Sigh...
Awwwwwwww! Love him! It wasn't easy for me, but Cole was excited about all of it, so that made it easier. Or easy-ish...

Hugs Melissa! He is so sweet. I'll be thinking of you tomorrow! Johnny starts tomorrow as well...although no bus for him. I'm sad though because I am starting my class also and won't be able to give him my full attention :( Sad that our babies are growing.

That is so stinkin' sweet, Melissa! What a doll! Kindergarten was harder for me than it was for Ryan. I took work off that day and cried almost the whole time Ryan was gone. It does get easier, though. I promise.

Hi Melissa! Oh, that is too sweet what your son said! As the others have said, it does get easier along the way. Last year my son started first grade and it took him a couple of weeks to get used to being in school everyday, all day. It took me a while also!! Today, both kids started one in grade 2 and one in grade 5, it was kind of peaceful, but I was definately ready to go get them at 3:00!!
Good luck!
