This is not a perfectly composed or exposed photo, but it is one I wanted to capture and savor.  Jackson is by far my snuggliest and cuddliest baby.  He loves to be in the Baby Bjorn all the time.  I adore it too!

Valentine's Day Projects

While there isn't much scrapbooking going on here right now, I did make these projects over Christmas for my favorite scrapbooking store.  I forgot to scan in the scrapbook page before I took it to the store, so this photo is all I have.  I used these fun papers and products from BoBunny Press.

In shock...

The plane crash of Continental Flight 3407 that happened last night is literally a few miles from my home.  Our community is in shock today and trying to get a handle on what has happened. I am most scared of learning of people I know that were on the flight.  Please keep all the victims and their families in your prayers and give all your loved ones and extra hug and kiss today.

Happy 1-Month Birthday Jackson!

• At birth Jackson weighed 7 pounds and measured 19.5 inches.  Now at one month old, he weighs       and measures           . (to be added after Friday's doctor visit)

• There have only been two trips out of the house for Jackson.  The first was to come home from the hospital and the second was for a two-week doctor visit.

• He eats approximately every 3-4 hours and is up to 3.5 ounces of formula.

• Jackson's alert time is increasing and he loves to be held over the shoulder to look at his surroundings.

• He is a snuggler and a cuddler which makes me so happy.  Jackson loves the Baby Bjorn and is content to snuggle in there while I vacuum, dust, empty the dishwasher, etc.

• He is not crazy about hanging out in the swing or bouncy seat.  Hopefully that will change soon.

• Jackson is getting used to living in a noisy house with two big brothers who are very active and loud.

• He is occasionally smiling at us and I was lucky enough to capture one with the camera today.

• Jackson has captured our hearts and filled our home with even more love.

My heart is so full...

of love.  This sweet baby boy is just making my heart melt each and every day.  He is so calm and loving.  He loves to be snuggled and held close.  I seriously cannot get enough of him.

I took this photo of him the other day while I was holding him.  I held the camera out to my side with my left hand and snapped.  I captured this snuggle and I love it.

I took this photo today...Jackson's 4-week birthday.  I cannot believe that he has been on this earth for 4 weeks already.  I am trying to savor every moment and cherish each of them.

Sweet baby Jackson, I thank the Lord for bringing you into our lives.  I love you so.

Thanks again for all the well wishes on the birth of our new son.  I am so touched by all of you and your kind words.  My computer is finally fixed (insert huge sigh of relief that nothing was lost) and I am finally able to share some photos of the new little one.
