As hard as it is for me to believe, the school year is ending. I thought perhaps it was just because I had a baby this year, but so many moms that I talk to agree that this school year flew by. So, the end of the school year means gifts for those amazing teachers who work with our children every day. Luke finished preschool last week and I made these darling clipboards after seeing the amazing Marta share them. Here is a link to a tutorial on making them. {She did have a pdf available with a clipboard template; I can't find that right now, but I will be emailing her.}
Along with the clipboard, I made them each a mini notebook and a bookmark like in the recent giveaway here.
I had this photo of Luke giving me a flower, so I used it to make a thank you card for his teachers.
Sean's last day is tomorrow and I just finished up the gifts for his teachers tonight. I found this darling coffee cozy tutorial on Erin's inspirational blog and I thought they would be so much fun to make.
I made a trip to Starbucks today and picked up some empty cups to wrap the cozies around and each teacher received a gift card. I put some other goodies in there as well as you can see here.
I also took a photo of Sean today with some daisies and used it to make my thank you cards.
Both of these resources made the gift giving so easy and fun this year. I hope you have found some inspiration as well.
