It is hard to believe that another school year is coming to a close. Luke finished up last Friday and Sean will be finishing first grade this week. I like to give a personalized gift to the teachers...something that is useful and functional. I decided to make some notecards for the teachers. I took some of my 'Thursday's Thoughts' and reduced them in size and had them printed at my photo developer. I then purchased blank cards at Michaels and adhered the photos to the front of the notecards.
Each teacher received a set of 10 notecards and I packaged them in a cellophane bag with some ribbon.
I am not normally a gift card giver, but both of Luke's teachers had reasons for wanting gift cards, so that was a perfect addition to the notecards. Sean's sweet teacher loves Pandora charms and has a bracelet and necklace. We bought the 'forget-me-not' charm because Sean has grown really attached her since she has been his teacher for the past two years.
I also personalized the thank you card with a photo of the boys holding flowers.
Here is Luke's: (Sean's still needs to be taken!)
Great idea it looks lovely & so is the card with Luke on it.

SO beautiful and such wonderful gifts, my friend! You know - I'm always looking for donations for the Cards for Kids card drive. Think you might want to make one more set for us to give away in September? ;) BIG hugs! I pray you and your family are doing well!

All I can say is, it's about time you made those cards! They're PERFECT. Now you just have to open your own Etsy shop and let me buy some. :) xo
