I am going to be collaborating with an amazing photographer whose work I have admired for so long now. I first spotted her incredible images on Flickr and was instantly mesmerized by her work. After faving most of her photos and looking foward to her new posts on Flickr, I approached her and we decided to do this collaboration project together.
Without further ado, let me introduce, the fabulous photographer, Kristi, whose blog you are probably familiar with, 'Life through the lens'. She also has an etsy shop allowing you to purchase her gorgeous prints to decorate your own home.
Each Wednesday we plan to post a diptych of our images side by side. The images will be our individual interpretations of a particular inspiration piece/prompt. We plan on keeping it rather organic without a lot of structure and just let it evolve as we go along. For example, some weeks the prompt may be a word, others it may be a quote, or a particular setting, etc.
To begin we chose the word 'nature' since we are in the midst of the beautiful summer season.
My image is the ladybug on top and Kristi's is the gorgeous homegrown tomatoes on the bottom. I love how our interpretations are quite different, but work together when paired side by side.
