This affirmed that we are kindred spirits. I love that we both photographed the same thing not knowing that we both shared the same passion for books. Kristi's image with the books on her bed is so romantic and serene. It makes me want to curl up in my own bed with a good book. My image is an ode to my love of design and photography books. I mentioned in the past that I have an addiction to Amazon and getting special packages delivered to my front door. To me, there is nothing like a good book for inspiration!
What can you not live without? Please share in the comments section. We look forward to seeing what you are passionate about.
I know that our children/families are the most important thing to all of us, and if you want you can certainly photograph them, but if you want to concentrate on material possessions, that is fine by me! ;)
I guess I was just thinking what are things that I surround myself with that make me happy, that I enjoy, that I feel I couldn't live without!
Happy photo taking! Can't wait to see what you love!
I consider myself relatively new to the vintage scene, but when I fell for vintage, I fell hard. I am always seeking out estate sales and antique shops. And as many of you know, one of my most favorite things to collect are vintage cameras. I found this old polaroid land camera last summer at an estate sale and it made the perfect addition to my collection. One of these days, I need to get around to buying some film for it to see if it still works. So, that is what I chose to photograph for vintage.
Kristi took an image of a set of vintage salt and pepper shakers from the 1950's. I just love them! They are adorable and a perfect representation of vintage.

Do you love vintage? We'd love to see what you photographed for this week's prompt. Please leave a link in your comment. We love to visit your blogs each week and see your interpretation!
Did you get to experience any quiet over the holiday weekend? Did you capture it in an image?
Kristi took this amazing image of bubbles. I love the way her mind works...bubbles are a perfect way to evoke quiet. I am very literal!!!! The photo of the sweet baby below is not what I originally had in mind when I chose the prompt, quiet, but after spending the morning with this precious babe, I thought it was a fitting image for quiet. I love how the prompts cause me to think and let go of my preconceived notions. Kristi and I hope you are enjoying them too! Keep sharing your gorgeous images...we love seeing them!
