Around town.
I love this prompt. Though, I was a little uninspired because most of my favorite places are surrounded by dirty snow. I like when my world is surrounded by a fresh layer of pretty white snow. ;)
Anyhow, I bet you can't tell which image is mine below! HA! I decided that I needed to focus on a place that is part of my daily routine...STARBUCKS. I was telling Kristi that I heard recently on the radio that STARBUCKS is changing their name by removing the 'coffee' part. I am not sure if they are changing their logo as well (getting rid of the siren). I guess they want to be known for more than just coffee. I personally do not like change very much. So, this photo preserves Starbucks as I will always think of it!
Kristi's image is so cool. I love the retro vibe to it. It is a burger/hot dog joint that has been in her town for as long as she can remember. This image will always be really special to her, I'm sure.

I actually enjoy Starbuck's smoothies :) I don't make it there to often though because it's out of my way on my drive to work. Change is hard! I agree with you there :)

I love both pics. We have visited Larsen's several times over the years, yummy onion rings! And Starbuck's, although I'm not a coffee drinker, they are in fact one of my customers. They have a new menu appearing soon! Aren't all of our own towns special and unique - this was a great challenge!
