Yikes, I really dropped the ball on posting this. I composed the diptych and left it on my desktop thinking I had posted it. Sorry.
Texture. Oh my goodness, I am so in love with Kristi's image. That pomegranate looks like a painting to me...incredible! I photographed some autumn acorns.

Melissa, I love your acorns. They are wonderfully lit and photographed. They are such a symbol of autumn, warm and natural and earthy. They almost look like they have wollen sweater tops for texture. Great photos from both you and Kristi. I just want to eat her pomegranate. It looks so succulent and delicious.
