I just love this little guy so much. I cannot remember what life was like without him. He is such a happy baby. This amazing hat was a gift from the incredibly talented, Erica. I love it! Happy weekend!
Just some photos to document an ordinary day in my life.
Today was extra special because since Jackson is now 4 months old (can't believe that), he was able to take his first spin in the jolly jumper. He was very jolly.
Big brother Luke loved watching him but had a hard time resisting the urge to 'push' him as if Jackson were in a swing.
Here is a shot of his little tootsies working really hard bouncing up and down.
Last night while I was at Barnes & Noble, I saw this book on the clearance table and looked at it. To my dismay, the big brother in the book was named Luke. I knew I had to buy it for him. As you can see, he loves it and feels so proud that a book was written about 'him' and his new role as a big brother.
And this little guy loves me. And I love him!
It really doesn't get any better than this. I love having a baby in the house again and you couldn't be more perfect. You love to snuggle with me and be close always. I pretty much wear the Baby Bjorn all day long, but that is okay. I love it. You smell so yummy and I love to peek down at your adorable face. You are such a lovely baby and I am truly savoring every moment. I wish I could freeze you.

This is not a perfectly composed or exposed photo, but it is one I wanted to capture and savor. Jackson is by far my snuggliest and cuddliest baby. He loves to be in the Baby Bjorn all the time. I adore it too!

At birth Jackson weighed 7 pounds and measured 19.5 inches. Now at one month old, he weighs and measures . (to be added after Friday's doctor visit)
There have only been two trips out of the house for Jackson. The first was to come home from the hospital and the second was for a two-week doctor visit.
He eats approximately every 3-4 hours and is up to 3.5 ounces of formula.
Jackson's alert time is increasing and he loves to be held over the shoulder to look at his surroundings.
He is a snuggler and a cuddler which makes me so happy. Jackson loves the Baby Bjorn and is content to snuggle in there while I vacuum, dust, empty the dishwasher, etc.
He is not crazy about hanging out in the swing or bouncy seat. Hopefully that will change soon.
Jackson is getting used to living in a noisy house with two big brothers who are very active and loud.
He is occasionally smiling at us and I was lucky enough to capture one with the camera today.

I took this photo of him the other day while I was holding him. I held the camera out to my side with my left hand and snapped. I captured this snuggle and I love it.
I took this photo today...Jackson's 4-week birthday. I cannot believe that he has been on this earth for 4 weeks already. I am trying to savor every moment and cherish each of them.
Sweet baby Jackson, I thank the Lord for bringing you into our lives. I love you so.
