One of my favorite things about the Christmas season is the wonderful mail that arrives with cards and photos from family and friends. I spend a great deal of time getting a photo of my boys that I love and want to share with my loved ones. Therefore, I want the paper it is printed on to be beautiful and showcase the photo I have captured. Christmas cards from Tinyprints is the answer to my search. Their craftsmanship is incredible. The paper they use is smooth and silky to the touch and you have nearly unlimited choices when it comes to the type of card you want to send as well as the design on the card itself. There are flat cards, single fold cards, trifold cards, ornament cards, etc. Here are a few that caught my eye and are in the running for my Christmas card this year:
I love the simple sketchy frame around the photo in this one.
Aren't the rounded corners on this card fantastic?
How special to receive a photo card that is also an ornament for your tree!
Ahhh...Valentine's day....one of my favorite days of the year. Not because it is a Hallmark holiday, but because I just love all the sentiments of love that are all around us at this cold, often bleak time of year. The red hearts everywhere warm me up and remind me of all the wonderful blessings in my life. The boys and I love making valentines for their classmates. This year, I used a photo to make a little treat bag topper. The boys loved stuffing the bags and helping me get everything together.
And here is our sweet Maisy wishing you a happiest of Valentine's days!
Here's wishing all of you a wonderful new year. May 2011 be filled with love, joy and happiness for all of you. As you know, I love quotes and I spotted this in my internet travels and wanted to share it with my blog readers.
I am in awe of all the veterans and the active military who risk (ed) their lives on a daily basis so that I can enjoy the freedoms that I too often take for granted. I am humbled by your patriotism and your selflessness. From the bottom of my heart, thank you.
