I just realized yesterday that if I want to have my Mother's Day cards arrive in time for the special day, I need to get working. I made three so far; four more to go. I think I will do variations of these.
The idea for this card came from a lampshade advertised in either Pottery Barn Kids or Pottery Barn Teen.
I used fabric to make the flowers on both of the following cards, but I think I will make some with paper too.
I will be finishing mine tonight so I can get them in the mail tomorrow. It is hard to believe that Mother's Day is on Sunday. Time is flying by!
Oh they are just beautiful! Wonderful job!

You must be like me - I made almost a dozen cards - my mom, mother in law, sister in law, friends who are moms, my mom's friends who are like second mothers to me... I get a little carried away. Now I wish I had done something simple like those flower cards - gorgeous!

Another great options is Sendoutcards.com
I am a distributor for http://www.Sendoutcards.com/askpat where you can create your own card, have it printed, stuffed, stamped and shipped for under a $1. It is very cool!
This is one of my favorite Mother's Day poems from http://www.quotes-and-poems.com
A Wonderful Mother
God made a wonderful mother,
A mother who never grows old.
He made her smile of the sunshine,
And He molded her heart of pure gold.
In her eyes He placed bright shining stars,
In her cheeks, fair roses you see.
God made that wonderful mother.
