Maureen

That will be me tonight! I told you last year I changed it up a bit but will do so again this year, as that was too much (for me!).....sad that I might disappoint J but I'll try to figure out a way to still make it fun for him :)
Love your simple paper!!

Katie Squires

What an AWESOME tradition!!!!

Heather Moll

I was thinking about this last night and wondering if I could muster up the energy to do it. I love the idea so much!

Becca Tuck

Hi, I'm new to your blog, and love it! This is such a great idea, my boys would love it!

wendy bretz

I LOVE this tradition of yours melissa :)
can't wait to see the list of the ones you choose this year.
:)

marta

i have begun collecting mine! enjoy the season..

kristina

Such a wonderful tradition, Melissa! LOVE it and I should have done that this year, but December snuck up on me. I think I'll start collecting them throughout the year that way it'll be easier next year to actually have that done! :) Have a wonderful week ahead! Hugs!

Stephanie Howell

oh! forgot all about that...
still love it to pieces. we will have to do it next year when J is home.

Holly O'Keefe

What a fantastic tradition! I would love to see your collection of holiday books!

Baboon

This is truly a wonderful idea...but do you actually buy 24 books every year?? Or do you "recycle" them from time to time?

Deirdre

I pulled out our box of Xmas books after reading your post. I'm not motivated to pull much out this year, as we'll be gone for 2 weeks, but I love this idea. We'll be starting late and finishing before we leave (but I only have 15 books in our collection so far so it works out!).

Thanks so much for your generosity in sharing ideas like this. I love it and hope we keep it as a tradition. Also love your "he said" post--made me tear up. Love their brotherhood but miss having them each one-on-one!

beckynovacek

that has to be one of the best holiday traditions ever!

marta

am STILL thinking about this tradition. i love it. if you ever get around to it.. i'd love a list of great christmas stories. am starting my 'deakin tradition' this year with a small collection for benji!

thank you and happy thanksgiving!
