Diptych no. 39 bloom

Bloom.

Of course I immediately went with photographing one of my most favorite things, flowers for this prompt. I found these beautiful sunflowers at the market and they brought so much sunshine and cheeriness to my kitchen!

I just adore Kristi's image of her sweet daughter holding that gerbera daisy. I love the green checked dress paired with the red of the flower.

Water.

These images of water are so representative of all the joys that water brings in the summer. Kristi's daughter is just the cutest thing ever in that splash park. Sheer joy.

Sean loves to swim in the lake near my in-law's house. You can see the happiness in his smile.

Red | Summer Colours Week

My 'week' of summer colours is almost complete.  Only one day left..rainbow. I will share as soon as I capture it. In the meantime, here is red.  What is more perfect than fresh strawberries? Yum!
