polkadotandplaid...I didn't even know you have a blog!! I just added it to my favorites. Thanks so much for doing a giveaway...so nice and fun!!:) My daughter's bedroom has a bird theme...I never really paid much attention to birds until I started decorating her room. I think my favorite assesory has to be the pictures I took to hang on her wall. We decorated around Easter, so I took marshmallow peeps (pink, yellow, purple, and blue)outside and placed them in locations you would find real birds (birdhouse, bush, etc.). Then I framed the pictures with some brightly colored mattes and ended up with some very inexpensive wall art. I really had fun with that project, so I definitely think those are my faves!!:) Thanks again for doing this!!:)

I'm off...

I'm off to Learnfest in the morning and I can hardly contain my excitement!  I will be a student again, learning from four of the most amazing photographers in the country!  My mom will be here holding down the fort for me.  While I am so excited about this trip, I know I am going to miss the kids so much.  That is the hard part, but I am leaving treats for them each day I am gone and taking lots of photos of them with me.

{Celebrate Joy} Blog Giveaway!

I have been meaning to do a blog giveaway for what seems like forever now, but it always seems to get pushed aside with other things to do.  Well, this weekend, I had some time, so I made some mini notebooks and bookmarks to giveaway. 

 

I thought these little notebooks would be fun to keep in your purse to jot down thoughts, lists, or even use it to write a note to someone (and take it off the ring).  There are 50 sheets of cardstock in each notebook.

And, I added some of my favorite quotes to some of my favorite floral photos to make bookmarks.
